Well it's official - despite the little heatwave we're in the middle of here in Ottawa, we are into September now and that means that summer is over. For most of us it's back to school or back to work from summer holidays. As you may have noted in previous blogs, I am just aching to get my fall jackets out. To me, a great jacket can definitely be the one thing that "makes" an outfit. I'm seeing military inspiration everywhere in the mall - boots, pants, patterns and jackets. This one, for example, is a wool military blazer from Smart Set (2nd Level). I love the silver buttons and the zipper detail on the sleeves. And at $75 (plus taxes), it leaves lots of room in your budget for another fall staple - denim. Smart Set has an array of styles from the denim trouser to super-stretch skinny jeans and the classic bootcut - all in a variety of washes, too! My shopping list continues to grow...
